Focused on the broad and emerging sound of dubstep, Aquatic Lab as the name suggests is an experimental environment for tomorrow’s big name artists. 

Managed from Sydney Australia but globally focused from day one, Aquatic Lab Records and associated club night -  Aquarium - have grown to become  important outposts in the global dubstep network.

Aquarium was launched in October 2006 as a way to build grass roots awareness and support for Aquatic Lab Records. The first event with its distinctive tagline “Dubstep Dancehall” featured Kode9 with following events showcasing Skream, Digital Mystikz, Benga, Pinch, Caspa, Moving Ninja, DJ Distance, Vexd and DJ Ntype.

Distributed to the world through ST Holdings, the label commenced in January 2008 with rising stars Caspa & Rusko on the inaugural imprint. Following releases are set to feature Australia's very own Moving Ninja, Bristol's DJ Pinch and dark breakbeat garage pioneer Zed Bias.
